Mi otro yo rockero

Dirán los expertos en historia del rock que hay obras mejores. No voy a pontificar al respecto. Valga el chorizo siguiente como mero desahogo, producto de la intensidad con que viví mi juventud durante el periodo 1964-1974. Es una lista muy personal de algunas canciones pop en inglés que agitaron mis fibras, por su melodía, por su arreglo, por su canto, por su letra o por las cuatro cosas juntas, sin olvidar desde luego mi propia coyuntura anímica y sentimental en los tiempos de sus respectivas apariciones. Dejo claro que preferí citarlas por quienes las interpretaron, no por sus autores, y que sin duda faltarán artistas o piezas rockeras de mayor fama pero que no sacudieron mis gustos (cada quien tiene sus filias y sus fobias).

Suelo recetarme dos que tres de estas rolas por las noches después de trabajar en mis escritos. Cuando no les hago click en la magia youtubera de la compu, las escucho en el tocadiscos o en el reproductor de compactos, a manera de retrospectivas, de evocaciones, de flashbacks, dizque para cambiar de caset mental y despejarme antes de meterme a la cama. En ocasiones me sirven de sedante; en otras, su tonadita me sigue martillando sin clemencia hasta en el sueño. Son páginas imborrables de mi biografía y supongo que también en las historias de vida de mucha gente tan nostálgica sesentera o setentera como yo. Hoy me tomé el atrevimiento de enlistarlas (nunca antes se me había ocurrido). Si esta suerte de guía-menú a nadie le hace provecho, al menos para mí funciona de sabroso recalentado navideño y con mi pan me la como.
